Chatuge Woods Campground is a 30 acre county operated campground located directly on Lake Chatuge on one of the best open water areas on the lake.  The campground has 110 campsites, with approximately 65 campsites located directly on Lake Chatuge, and approximately 45 off the lake with lake access.

The camp sites are all maintained, and each site has water, electric,and a picnic table.  There are 2 bathhouses, paved roads throughout campground, and 2 dumpsters available for trash and weekly pickup by the County.

Public boat ramp adjacent to the campground with ample parking space.

There is also a 30 foot by 70 foot picnic shelter with tables for cookouts for use by the campers free of charge.

Campsite rental prices are: $200.00/month for campsite on the lake
                                      $175.00/month for campsite off the lake

Winter storage: $30.00/month ($150.00 for the winter)

Campground is open April 1st through October 31st of each year.

Campground is located within minutes from entertainment, restaurants, and service stations.

Regulations for Chatuge Woods Campgrounds

1.   Camping is on a first come, first served basis.
2.   A maximum of three vehicles may park at each campsite.
3.   Payment must be made by the 10th day of each month.  Failure to do so will result in a $10.00 penalty fee and loss of camping space.
4.   All campers below the road are considered to be located on lakefront property.  Lakefront camping fees are $200.00 per month.
5.   All campers located above lake lots will pay monthly fees of $175.00 per month.
6.   Do not cut, damage, or drive nails into any trees or shrubs.
7.   Respect other campers.  Observe quiet hours from 10:00pm to 6:00am
8.   Firearms, fireworks, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
9.   Recreational use of motorbikes, four wheelers, and motorcycles are not allowed within the campground.
10.  All pets must remain on a leash while staying in the campground.
11.  Report all disturbances to the resident manager.
12.  Storage fees for winter months must be paid by the last day of October.  Storage fees for winter is $150.00
